ICF
ICF stands for Insulated Concrete Formwork, it’s a concrete shuttering system which utilises highly Insulative materials which remain part of the concrete walls. The Concrete forwork is reinforced with steel rebar and shuttering insulation held to the front and back with wall ties.

It’s the fifth day on the new pool build and we’re ready for concrete! The insulated concrete form-work we use for our swimming pool shells requires the concrete to be pumped in (via a concrete pump) in a loose liquid form. Usually pumped via a long boom it means we can reach even the hardest

After four days on site the insulated concrete form-work is up and braced. The pipework and conduits through the shell are in position and any shuttering for fixing points have been added.
