Decked ICF swimming pool for a family garden

Family Pool On Farm

There’s a storm a coming!!
With weather conditions taking a turn for the worse! The pool has now been weather proofed. At the same time, work has begun on the plant room so the pools’ outside pipework trenches can be backfilled, enabling better access to the pool for meshing and rendering.
A Perfect Pour
This concrete pour couldn’t have really gone any better, C & G were awesome and gave us complete control of the rate the concrete entered the ICF shell. ICF Pool Walls nearly completed
Day 3 and the ICF swimming pool walls are nearly complete. The steel reinforcement is complete and the pool shell is ready for the suctions, returns, lights and vacuum point to be installed and piped up.
Reflective basement swimming pool
The pool hall also benefitted from a custom tiled spa and bespoke stretched ceiling which supplies fresh air and dehumidification.

A Concrete Pour with Hurdles
Due to access issues this concrete pour was full of hurdles to overcome!! Mains high voltage power supply was blocking the direct access so we had to use the biggest concrete pump with the greatest reach that was available!
Pool tiling completed ready for filling

Hill top swimming pool shell construction begins
The beauty of using Quadlock ICF for swimming pool shell construction is it’s very easy to get to site no matter how difficult the location. On-top of a rather large hill, on a slab constructed by groundwork’s team a week earlier, the basic pool shell flies up within a matter of days.
