Plant room manifolds installed at the early stages of construction.

Just as it’s easier for us to build a pool in a basement before a house is constructed above it, it’s also a lot easier to start an install of a swimming pool plant room at its earliest stages. At a new pool build in South Cerney we were able to install the main plant room manifolds even before the slab was cast.

With the main suction and return manifolds cast in the slab at an early stage the plant room can now be constructed around it. The layout of the plant room is carefully planned out in CAD. This will maximise the efficiency of the plant room equipment to be installed once the building is completed.

Hill top swimming pool shell construction begins

The beauty of using Quadlock ICF for swimming pool shell construction is it’s very easy to get to site no matter how difficult the location. On-top of a rather large hill, on a slab constructed by groundwork’s team a week earlier, the basic pool shell flies up within a matter of days.

Another Pool Build Project Begins

With new pool build projects starting on a regular basis we are used to working in many different environments; be it basements in London to cliff edges in Italy. Our latest pool build project is at a breathtaking location on top of a hill overlooking the Worcestershire and the Malvern hills. Being on top of a very steep hill brings new challenges with logistics, access and working conditions. Updates to follow shortly….
