Pouring concrete to form a lid over the balance tanks and cover pit
Today we have successfully poured 52 cubic metres of concrete to form the walls, balance tanks and cover lid. As this post goes live, the concrete is curing; resisting the low temperatures with double sided insulation. This stage is a key development within the project and could not be achieved so quickly with alternative pool construction methods.
Quad-Lock is one of the more adaptable ICF systems, which enables alterations in the design to accommodate features such as steps, overflow channels, cover pits and balance tanks.
