Basement swimming pool goes in first.

A basement swimming pool has started construction in Cheltenham. By working with the architect and contractors we can install a bespoke basement pool before the house itself is constructed. This way is always preferable rather than building a basement pool retrospectively, which always comes with logistical issues. Within two weeks the pool should be ready for the final concrete pore allowing the contractor to continue building the rest of the house around it.

Stands the Test of Time…

A swimming pool which was completed back in 2014 still looks as impressive as the day it was first commissioned. The deck level overflow pool had a minor fault maintaining its water level, after closer inspection our engineers found a faulty solenoid on the besgo valve which maintains the balance tank levels. A quick fix for a stunning pool.

Outdoor Pool Refurbishment

Brookforge refurbished this outdoor pool in North London. We added a Covrex automatic cover, complete with underwater skimmer system that allows the pool to have a high freeboard giving the pool the look of an overflow pool without all of the cost. We laid Natural Stone slabs to create a modern looking surround that extended across the width of the rear garden of this property near to the much sought after location of Bishops Avenue and Hampstead.

Pool Design Service

WB Design & Build were carrying out a full refurbishment of an old rectory in Wiltshire and asked Brookforge to design a 15m x 5m outdoor pool.

We provided a complete pool and plantroom design along with supply and installation of the specialist equipment such as the Covrex Slatted Automatic cover and the Pentair Intellipool dosing and remote monitoring system.

Swim school ready for swimmers

swim school poolAn ambitious swim school project was to diversify an existing dairy farm and branch out with a new business. The concept was to answer the call for more swimming pools available to the general public in rural areas.

The Parlour Pool is a new indoor swimming pool serving the local community around Chipping Sodbury in South Gloucestershire. The pool was designed to be used for swimming lessons and is available for hire to groups of 2-6 people. Located in a private setting on a working dairy farm; the Parlour Pool offers something different for local people looking for somewhere quiet to swim.

With the help of a Rural Development grant the original derelict farm buildings were demolished to make way for the Parlour Pool.

Because the swim school pool is available for private hire to the general public; the correct water treatment and air handling was essential to maintain the fabric of the building and most importantly provide a comfortable environment for bathers.
