Luxury Basement Swimming Pool in Alderley Edge

Brookforge designed, specified and installed a basement swimming pool for a townhouse development in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. The project was undertaken with Huntsmere Projects, whose development incorporated a swimming pool for the first time.

Reinforced Concrete Basement Pool

The pool was built using shuttered reinforced concrete construction, with a letterbox pit at one end for a concealed automatic slatted pool cover.

Pool Lighting and Swimming Features

Polished stainless steel shell fittings included a counter-current swimming unit. Colour-changing LED lighting allowed the atmosphere in the pool hall to be adjusted.

Indoor Swimming Pool Ventilation

A fully ducted air-handling unit was installed to help control humidity and maintain suitable air and water temperatures.
