Brookforge were asked to design, specify and install a swimming pool in the basement of a townhouse in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
The developer – Huntsmere Projects – was setting out on their first project that included a swimming pool. Brookforge were able to provide all of the knowledge and experience that Huntsmere lacked, with regards to the swimming pool, allowing them to concentrate on what was a challenging build.
The pool was a shuttered reinforced concrete construction, with a letterbox pit for an automatic slatted cover at one end. Colour changing LED’s were installed to provide the customer the opportunity to adjust the lighting to suit their moods. All shell fittings are finished in polished stainless steel, including a counter current unit.
The pool hall benefited from a fully duct-ed air handling unit ensuring that the humidity, air temperature and water temperature were kept at the correct levels.
