Luxury Indoor Infinity Overflow Pool in Prestbury

Brookforge worked alongside luxury property developer Huntsmere Projects to design and specify a contemporary indoor swimming pool for a major residential development in Prestbury, Cheshire.

Luxury Indoor Overflow Pool Design

The pool was constructed in shuttered reinforced concrete, with a concealed overflow detail and polished stainless steel fittings. Brookforge developed the technical specification to support the developer’s design objectives.

Concealed Automatic Slatted Cover

A recess within the pool wall accommodated an automatic slatted cover, allowing the cover to be stored out of sight when the pool was in use.

Colour-Changing LED Lighting

Colour-changing LED lighting enabled the pool hall atmosphere to be adjusted to suit different occasions.

Air Handling for a Glazed Pool Hall

With extensive glazing around the pool hall, correct air-handling design was particularly important. A fully ducted air-handling unit was specified to help manage humidity and maintain suitable air and water temperatures.
