Luxury Indoor Basement Swimming Pool in Alderley Edge

Brookforge worked alongside luxury property developer Huntsmere Projects on this contemporary indoor swimming pool in the basement of a new-build house in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

Contemporary Basement Pool Design

The pool was finished with polished stainless steel fittings and LED lighting. An automatic slatted pool cover was concealed in a recess at the far end of the pool, helping to reduce heat loss when the pool was not in use.

Filtration and Water Treatment

Brookforge designed and installed the plant room equipment, including multi-cyclone and cartridge filtration, ozone treatment and a tablet chlorinator to help maintain water quality.

Indoor Pool Air Handling

Dedicated air-handling systems were also incorporated to help maintain a comfortable environment in the basement pool hall.
