Work has continued on an old leaky and expensive to run pool which desperately needed a second lease of life.
The 80 year old pool had been costing it’s owner an extortionate amount of money to keep running due to its poor condition and lack of insulation. The challenge was to bring the pool up to modern day standards of energy efficiency and flow regulations.
Building a pool within a pool was the most cost effective way to achieve this. The side walls are cladded with a retro-fit Quadlock panels, whilst the shallow and deep end have new ICF walls built within the existing pool, these house the new suction/return pipework and fittings which will drastically improving the pools flow rates and water turnover. A new trench up the side of the pool houses all the new pool pipework need to maintain efficient pool circulation.
