Work has begun on an old leaky and expensive to run pool which desperately needed a second lease of life.
The 80 year old pool had been costing it’s owner an extortionate amount of money to keep running due to its poor condition and lack of insulation. The challenge was to bring the pool upto modern day standards of energy efficiency and flow regulations.
Poor water circulation meant that pool was very slow to heat and treat the water; ontop of the huge heat losses due leaks and lack of insulation.

Building a pool within a pool was the most cost effective way to achieve this. The side walls are to be cladded with a retro-fit panels, whilst the shallow and deepend have new ICF walls built within the existing pool, these will house the new suction/return piperuns and fittings which will drastically improving the pools flow rates and water turnover.
The intial CAD drawings of our proposed solution have been accepted and work will begin shortly.
