Independent School Swimming Pool Refurbishment in Oxford

Brookforge refurbished an existing liner swimming pool at an independent school in Oxford, upgrading the pool finishes and plant room to support regular school use.

New Pool Liner and Stainless Steel Fittings

The refurbishment included a commercial-grade pool liner, stainless steel skimmers and new handrails.

Reducing Water Volume and Running Costs

The pool depth was reduced to decrease the volume of water requiring heating and treatment, helping lower operating costs and improve water turnover.

Commercial Filtration and Automatic Backwash

A modernised automated plant room was installed to accommodate heavy bather use. Equipment included Certikin SLX deep-bed filters and Besgo automatic backwash valves, reducing the need for manual weekly servicing.

Working with the School Maintenance Team

Brookforge worked directly with the on-site maintenance team to return the swimming pool to service promptly.
