22m Outdoor Swimming Pool Refurbishment in the Cotswolds
Brookforge was commissioned to design the complete refurbishment of a 22-metre outdoor concrete swimming pool in the Cotswolds, working alongside the client’s appointed building contractor.
Outdoor Pool Refurbishment Design
The work involved pool design, technical consultancy and engineering, together with new pipework and specialist plant room equipment.
Automatic Slatted Pool Cover
The existing pool relied on a manually operated thermal cover. Brookforge produced structural designs for a fully automatic slatted cover housed in a flooded letterbox-style pit constructed at the end of the existing pool wall.
Filtration and Backwashing
A Besgo automatic backwash valve was installed to save plant room space and help reduce water consumption and regular maintenance.
Mosaic Pool Finishes
Brookforge also advised on and supplied high-quality mosaic pool tiles for the refurbishment.
