One of the most important factors involved with any swimming pool build is the tanking stage. A watertight shell is paramount, and can cause damage if not achieved properly. Brookforge use a spray tanking method and are fully equipped with the specialist tools that this method requires.
Swimming pool tanking – Application
The liquid tanking membrane can be applied to solid, dry substrates and suitable renders such as our rapid curing waterproof render. The tanking membrane uses water as a carrier to enable a spray application This means that, unlike other systems, ours does not produce unpleasant vapour; enabling other trades to continue working in the same building.
Typically 2 – 3 coats are sprayed, depending on external hydrostatic pressure.
