Rapid-curing render
Rapid-curing renders can help prepare suitable substrates for swimming pool finishes and wet-area tiling. Select a system compatible with the substrate, waterproofing and intended exposure, and follow the current manufacturer guidance for application thickness, curing time and readiness for tiling.
Rapid-hardening cement and screeds
Rapid-hardening materials may be useful for forming screeds, steps and selected construction details where programme constraints matter. Suitability for bonded or unbonded applications, immersion and structural loading must be established for each product; working and curing times vary with site conditions.
Insulation panels
Insulation panels may be used as part of a considered thermal strategy for concrete slabs and other pool construction elements. Specification should account for structural loading, moisture exposure and compatibility with adjacent materials.
Selecting the right system
Product suitability, installation instructions and current manufacturer technical data should be reviewed for each project, particularly where materials will be exposed to continuous immersion or pool chemicals.
