Pool Shell Construction & Concrete Pour

7m high ICF Pool Shell Construction

7m high ICF wall being constructed

Basement Level Pool Shell Construction

The pool structure comprises three walls at 1.4m, with the fourth wall at full ceiling height; supporting the concrete floor above.

The cover will be housed in a ‘cave’ formed by a cantilever lid. This lid is tied in and cast with the walls.

The pool features two stainless steel skimmers with an automatic top up to ensure the water level remains the same. Read More…

Starter Bars Fixed, Construction of Structure Begins, Romsey

The Romsey project is making good progress. The starter bars have been fixed to the slab, and the construction of the pool and balance tanks walls has begun using the Quad-Lock system.

Concrete Poured, Moreton in Marsh

The swimming pool, balance tanks, spa and steps have been poured

Concrete Poured Successfully

This project comprises of a large spa bath, uniquely shaped deck level pool and balance tanks for each. The pool will have an insulated slatted cover which will be hidden when closed. Colour changing LED lights will be used to light up the water. These are controllable and compatible with automation systems.

Insulation

Insulation has been a priority throughout this project. The project location is fairly exposed and is predominantly in the shade. Insulation panels have been installed externally and Quad-lock panels forming the pool’s internal structure. The slab will also be insulated, as will the base in the spa. The purpose of this insulation is minimize heat loss through the structure, thus saving potentially thousands compared to an un-insulated pool. The insulated slatted cover will help to counteract heat loss through evaporation.
